Dear Parents,

The safety of our children is Tarkington ISD's first priority, and because of that we must request that only students assigned to a certain bus be allowed to ride that bus. We are transporting a large number of students this year, and the buses are full with assigned riders. We cannot transport extra students for sleepovers or parties. Accommodations can be made if a student needs to occasionally ride to a grandparent or a babysitter's house.

We ask that you make other arrangements if your child needs to go home with another student. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we know you understand that the safety of all students is of utmost importance.
